COURSE OBJECTIVE:
International Finance offers students an opportunity for in-depth examination of international finance. Theories and applications are examined to introduce the current thinking and research in the field. The origin and impact of exchange rate risk and its management are emphasized. Foreign exchange market parity conditions and techniques for obtaining and using funds across multiple markets are examined.

GRADE DETERMINATION:

The final course grade earned will be determined by one exam, and a research project contributing 1/2 each. The standard percentage breakdown as shown below will be used in determining final grades. The exam will cover the entire text and material covered during the time in Europe. Students must check the Internet for any updates on this web site.

The research project is due and students should take the exam at 2:00 on Friday August 30. If that deadline cannot be met, a written request for a brief delay will be acceptable.
