Conclusion

   The Internet is a viable and powerful that is easily accessed by
the masses in our technological society. The technology itself is not a
bad thing, but power in the wrong hands can be misused. Both  children
 and adults have become addicted to the machince with similar
dependances and withdrawal symptoms. The Internet not only sells sex, but
goods as well, which, for some people, can be a very bad idea. The
technology itself should not be done away with, however, in order for such
a powerful tool to be so easily accessible, then the general public first
needs to be educated to a greater extent about the risks involved.

	Today people possess a tool that can definitely aid in the growth
of our country and the global village as a whole. It can bring people
who otherwise would have never met together. It can heighten the awareness
of the average person. Historically we have seen that the misuse of power
can either create a powerful society or destroy one. Unless people learn
how to utilize the Internet in a way that is beneficial for the majority,
eventually the Internet and technology as a whole will become a living,
breathing thing that can no longer be conrolled, and it will destroy the
world as we know it.
