In addition to our main
orientation in September, we have a January intake (usually around
700 students) and host a mini Orientation. Due to the fact that
students are mixed in with upper level classes, activities for
the first semester students are held during the evening (4pm until
7pm), it is a challenge getting the students to stay and attend.
Also, our college boasts a very successful September Orientation.
I am proud to say that faculty, staff, student and college administration,
and the community are all involved. Our students are treated royally
with absolutely no cost to them. We provide academic orientation,
service orientation, as well as social activities and prizes galore.
Our goal is to make their orientation experience to Fleming a
memorable start to college.
