background—only 28 in the nation. Xavier is the sixth oldest
Catholic school in the nation. We are also noted for our strong
basketball program.

Creating a diverse campus.
Our greatest orientation challenge is including an academic piece
without lengthening the program, creating a small community atmosphere
as the University continues to increase the freshman class size,
and recruiting a diverse orientation team. |
