On April 20, 2001, James J. Adrian was named the 2001 Distinguished Alumni Award at the University of Illinois-Urbana. Dr. Adrian received his B.S., M.S, and Ph.D., from the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Illinois-Urbana in 1967, 1968, and 1972. The University of Illinois-Urbana is recognized as one of the leading Civil Engineering Departments in the Country.
Dr. Adrian received the Distinguished Alumni Award in recognition for his contribution to Construction Education and for his work on the measurement and improvement of construction productivity.
