Example 14: FONT and CENTER, and BR

You can use FONT to control font size. For example, this is odd looking, as I adjusted the font. You can use this for large capital letters in headings:

2. Centering Things

It is always better to use ALIGN="center" for this, but sometimes CENTER does have its nice points. For example, look at the following: text, centered between two HR elements:

But look here, where I put the enclosed text inside a paragraph: the extra spacing above the text and before the first HR is not really desired:
