Example of FN and NOTE Elements

This text contains footnotes. Each of the hypertext references leads to a footnote found in the body of the document. A bowser should hide the footnotes until they are accessed.

FNs and NOTEs may look absurd on HTML 2 browsers. To help make things better, collect your footnotes together, and place them at the bottom of the document. Notes should be \ written with appropriate text and block elements.

And here is more exciting text, not part of the NOTE. Well, what did you expect at these prices -- art?

This is footnote 1. A FN-aware browser should hide this text until the FN is accessed!.

Here is the second footnote. These have been placed at the bottom of the page, to help them display better on an HTML 2.0 browser. Note that links to the footnotes don't work.
