One teacher is needed to implement the lesson, but parents and aides can help students follow the directions of the Webquest and pathfinder, assist them in developing ideas for their newscast, and evaluate the resources they are using. A local historian or history professor could come speak to the class about the Cold War, its causes and its ramifications. If a local veteran is in the area who was stationed overseas during the Cold War, he could speak to the class about how he and his fellow soldiers felt during the time period and how close to nuclear war they believed the country came.
