Compare & Contrast Paper Instructions

For this assignment, you will be comparing and contrasting the Galveston Hurricane to a particular hurricane assigned to you by the instructor. For this assignment, you will need to use three sources, one of which must be the Library of Congress. Your paper must include the following:

• It must clearly explain what a hurricane is as well as any specialized vocabulary and terminology related to hurricanes.
• It must include a variety of sentence structures as well as well-formed sentences.
• It must have no grammatical or typographical errors.
• It must be clearly organized with an introduction, body, and conclusion. It must also include support for any claims made within the paper.
• It must clearly illustrate the similarities as well as differences of Galveston and your particular hurricane.
• It must clearly demonstrate how Galveston and your assigned hurricane would impact a community. Explain the effects of these two hurricanes.
• APA documentation of the three sources must be used, including the Library of Congress. Use in-text citations.
• APA documented “References” page must be included at the end of your paper. If needed, consult an APA Handbook.
• The final draft of the paper should be three to five pages, not including the “References” page.
