In an alternate universe, a long way from here, there exists another of our world, of Earth. Completely unrecognizable to any person from this our version of Earth, this other world had an entirely different spin from that of our Earth.

For one, it turned the other way, meaning that a preponderance of the population were left-handed. But the big differences were not in the nature of the people, but in the nature of the society and culture that they had.

Economically, their system was exactly like ours, except for one key difference, money. Money existed, however, where on earth we use paper money backed by a rare metal, on the other earth, the money was the metal. Paper as luck would have, was extremely rare on this other earth. Trade existed, but it was done the way golf is played, the less the better. The economy of this other Earth worked much like the card game "bs" wherein, in order to get rid of your cards, you sometimes have to take in more. The poor people on this earth are much like the rich people of this other earth. Wealth was considered as having less than everyone else on this other Earth.

Religiously, well, its kind of hard to have backwards religions, as we would define them. But it is the history of religion on this planet that is most different. Where on our Earth, religions predominantly started out with many gods and have since moved towards a movement focusing on one supreme being, the religious history of this other Earth is exactly the opposite. As society developed on this other earth, the movement went to more gods from one.

Culturally, well, figure everything is backward......that means that what we would describe as a woman is a man on this planet, and etcetera. Love is hate; hate is love. But the most interesting part of the planet, in its entirety is its government. They have politicians and they have doctors, but the doctors are politicians and the politicians are doctors....So who rules?

Definitely not Lawyers. In fact, those who even mention the word "lawyer" are instantly picked up and taken one of the many gulags on the planet. Why? Well, the term "lawyer" refers to a type of person who simply cannot be described except maybe as a cross between all of the most hateful people in our Earth's history. Unfortunately for this alternate earth, such a being exists there, and comes out of hiding once every thousand years.

But in reference to the government of this earth, again, remember that everything is a little bit backwards from what we are used to, the entire planet is democratic. There are still entire peoples that are culturally different like the Chinese and Japanese and Americans and Brits and what not. But instead of electing representatives of these nations to a worldwide council, an entire nation is elected by the world to govern the world for a period of time, usually about eighty years. No nation can rule for two straight terms. They can be elected at a later period, but a nation must wait at least two terms before running for election again. The other nations of the world can control this one by the simple fact that even if perhaps it is the cultural with the highest population ruling, the rest of the world still has more people. Another controlling factor is that during its rule, a nation must turn over all of its offensive weapons and have them equally split amongst the other countries. Although there have been minor skirmishes in this system, over time, it has prevailed as successful.
