Clepartoop – a synopsis: by Kim Heintz

The planet was a world where the beings that were called Treops, lived under the surface. In the underworld, the Treops lived within connecting citadels. There was very little light in the citadels due to being under the surface of the planet. The citadels were very well taken care of and cleanly. Because of this, the Treops needed neither eye protection nor body protection. The Treops had no hair or other types of natural body protection. Their eyes were all white because there was no light to be blocked from the eyes. There are labs within the citadels that grow vegetation under special lights. The meat the Treops need is also grown in a lab. The society had, in its beginning, had animals raised, however, due to animal abuse laws, they had changed that.

The surface of the planet is much like earth with grass and a sun. Nobody within the Treop society would dare or even desire to go to the surface, however, sometimes the higher court would banish someone to the surface for exile to suffer.

A supreme court rules the Treop society. Whatever they say goes. If the court does not like you, they watch you very closely and keep a record of every thing that goes against the Treop way of life. After enough time, they drag you into the high courts, and list off the things you have, and even at times haven’t, done. Then, they take you and banish you to a life of "misery" on the surface and away from the life you have always known.

Religion exists in the Treop communities. The religious facilities have services on a daily basis where people are required to be. They walk in and first sign a book and send their wishes to the supreme ruler. Then they walk in and sit down in the seats in alphabetical order. From that point on they pray for the wellness of the supreme ruler and the Treop society. Sensors are placed in their brains to read the data of the thoughts in order to keep a watch on the prayer.

The sensors also keep a good watch over the Treops on a daily basis in their routines. There is very little room to move in the way of error against the society or the supreme ruler.

All in all, the society is a dictatorship ruled by a being that makes all rules and watches very closely over the Treops. There is a desire to not grow…to remain the same. And, under this jurisdiction, mostly that is what happens. However, there are a few who fight against it, and these pioneers have a different vision of Clepartoop and how they believe people should live.
