There is a spaceship sent out to colonize a world. The society is male dominated with women viewed as objects for breeding only. The people are all in stasis. There are two separate systems for supporting the men and the women. They do not interact in their worlds. It is only women with women and men with men. The men learn in their world they are being trained for colonizing. The women are in a primitive kind of setting. They must fend for them selves but they live in a beautiful place. The people were put on the ship as babies and grew slowly as the ship moved through space. They were nourished by their simulators and they grew in the places where they were kept. The women are woken up and told some of where they are. The men are in charge on the ship. They are about to land at a planet to colonize so they must all be awake. The women are treated badly and they look for ways to escape. The ship lands and somehow the women get away. They set up their own colony. Then something happens to the men and they come to the women for help. The women agree to help. They begin to form a relationship and build it into creating a complete society.
