Bill and Sandy Wardman live in Peoria, IL with their three children, Evan, Miranda and Andrew, and Sandyâs mother, Bertha. Bill and Sandy have been married for three years and this is the second marriage for both. Evan, aged 18 months is the Wardmanâs child, while Miranda, age 9, is from Sandyâs first marriage and Andrew, age 17 is from Billâs first marriage. Bertha, aged 69 has been living with Bill and Sandy for the past three years and is in the early stages of Alzheimerâs disease.
Bill, age 52, and Sandy, age 44
met at a singles dance for professional people and discovered that they
had much in common including a difficult and bitter divorce, custody of
their child, and similar family values. Both Bill and Sandy had grown
up in Peoria, had gone away to college and graduate school and returned
to their hometown to marry and raise their families.
